About me

I am Libby and Libby Heasman Design is a story of love and evolution, but it’s not a love story (sorry to disappoint). A story started by a geeky girl (that’s me – Libby) with a love of all things design. In the last 20 years or so I have evolved from web designer to human centred design practitioner and teacher. I currently work in federal government applying my craft to policy and program challenges.

In my ‘free’ time I like to design repeating patterns for use in fabric design. There’s a very real chance I may continue to evolve and it’s probably best not to remind me that I still haven’t fully explored my love of chair design.
